How much is the monthly Fee and what does it cover?
Explosion Elite Allstars charges each athlete an annual fee for participation in our program. Fees are used for the general day to day operation of the program as well as athlete instruction, and competition fees. There are additional fess such as uniforms, choreography and uniforms that should be raised through fundraising***. To make payments more affordable to parents, the annual fee is divided into equal installments paid monthly. These fees are determined by the class or team you athlete is on and are due on the first of each month. Fees are non refundable, non transferable and are not pro rated for any reason.
*** Any funds not raised through fundraising is an out of pocket expense for parents.
Are there any fundraisers?
Fundraising is great way to cover the expense without coming out of pocket. Explosion Elite Allstars offers two types of fundraising.
Mandatory Team Fundraisers - These fundraisers require participation from each athlete. Each year we strive to keep our prices low, to do so we require each athlete to raise a certain amount of funds to cover team expenses which may include uniform, new equipment, team events, etc. Although dates are set for fundraising, we understand that some parents may not be available. When parents are unavailable to participate in a mandatory team fundraiser we offer them an option to opt out* (some restrictions apply). This option allows parents to pay out of pocket the profit that their athlete would have raised through the fundraiser.
Individual Fundraisers - these fundraiser are so athletes can build money into their account. You have the option in participating in as many or as few as you want. These individual fundraisers are not mandatory, however we encourage everyone to take advantage of this easy way to offset expenses and build your child's account. We also work with a non profit group that allows you to work at various venues such as Nationals Park, Fed Ex Field etc. Click here for info on All About The Kids
Is prior cheer or dance experience required?
Explosion Elite Allstars has a No Cut" policy. This means that every athlete makes a team. We welcome athletes with experience however prior cheer or dance experience is not required. Our only requirements are a great attitude, determination, the ability to work as a team and the willingness to learn and have fun. Our athletes learn strengthening, conditioning, and flexibility techniques, as well as cheers, stunts, jumps and motions. We pride ourselves on our ability to teach and train athletes from all ages and stages. The expectation is that all athletes will meet the performance standards.
What if I can't tumble?
